¿Interactúan con alguien? Acabo de echar un vistazo rápido a su perfil y no veo que hayan respondido a nadie recientemente. Para tener aquí un bot, podrían haber dejado el que había hace años.

Como creo que he dejado claro, por supuesto que pueden hacer lo que quieran. Lo mismo que yo puedo extraer de su actitud la opinión que a mí me dé la gana, que es que les pueden dar por donde amargan los pepinos.

No te confundas: no se escribe de algo porque sea noticia; se convierte en noticia en el momento en que escriben sobre ello. ¿Es noticia que haga calor en verano? No, pero ahí tenemos a todos los medios llenando con eso el espacio que podrían dedicarle a Julian Assange, por ejemplo. ¿Por qué eligen unas cosas y no otras? Ésa es la pregunta clave.

Conste que me parece muy bien que los defiendas. Tus razones tendrás y serán muy respetables, pero es que me da que intentas convencerme de que cambie una opinión que tengo formada desde hace años por muchas y muy buenas razones. A mí me encanta discutir con la gente e intercambiar puntos de vista, pero no para perder el tiempo, que es lo que me da que estamos en riesgo de hacer si seguimos con este tema.

@johnnydement En cuanto Musk compró Twitter, gente de eldiario.es se abrió cuentas aquí para abandonarlas unos días después sin apenas usarlas ni interactuar con nadie. Supongo que se dieron cuenta de que nada fundamental había cambiado y se volvieron al redil, actitud cobarde, en mi opinión, pero objetivamente respetable.

Ahora escriben artículos para promocionar una red social que ni siquiera está disponible en la UE por ser _literalmente_ ilegal.

¿Que qué espero? Pues algo menos de hipocresía. Espero que estén del lado de las personas, y no del dinero. No creo que sea mucho pedir.

As bad as most fact-checkers are, if it weren't for conspiracy theorists, we would still be stuck with unfiltered propaganda.

So, next time you feel like complaining about misinformation on the Internet, just remember that, thanks to it, the MSM has to make at least some effort to convince you of their lies.

@trinsec I have always been of the opinion that radicals (I use this word as a general term to mean: “anyone whose ideas are a bit too far out,” be it politically, philosophically or anything else) serve a useful purpose. They keep us on our toes about all kinds of stuff.

Do I think the Fediverse is doomed with the arrival of Threads? No. Do I trust Facebook? Fuck, no. Doomers may not be right most of the time, but sometimes their radar is at least oriented in the right direction. We shouldn't dismiss their opinions without careful consideration.
