@snow We can't really control how much response we get on a post; hopefully an instance with an active Local feed might generate some, and it's quite enjoyable when it happens.

You did already good things, by engaging with other people's posts, which pleases them and in turn might generate responses to your own threads.

But the Local feed here at Qoto doesn't feel as nice as it was in some earlier times (mind you my experience here is also a limited time only).

These are my best suggestions, hope they can help you; although it doesn't depend on the author only either.

Maybe try to find some interesting posts in the "Home"feed and respond there? I came across some really nice ones and got engaged, enjoyed it; although it's such a random thing, that we just happen to see that post and be looking at the right feed to see it.

@design_RG Yeah we sure have had an increase in posts formatted like this, which tend not to spark conversation. Very much low-effort content.
