What would you say makes a good “backup ” — ie, no extensions, add-ons, etc. for those few sites that absolutely refuse to run on the likes of even with ALL plugins/etc disabled — but wouldn’t goatse myself towards every passing bit of malware and giant-corp tracking like and would? Would or work well enough, or do all chromium-based browsers "phone home" to ?

@hrisskar I use Pale Moon for my main and plain Chromium (not Chrome) as a backup. They may not be built like Fort Knox but to my knowledge haven't ever allowed malware onto my system.
