To clarify I am not against:
1. Truckers and other transport entities
2. Peaceful protests which are at the core ideology of healthy democracy

I do not support as their demands are unreasonable and insane.

None in the US, CA and the EU is forcing you to take a vaccine and no licensed medical professional is going to give you the vaccine if they are not confident about your consent and the vaccine efficacy (hypocratic oath).
If they do and you can prove it then you can sue them for a lot of money and take their license away.

This whole protest is evidently not about freedom it's about harassement of other people by a group of iresponsive inviduals who refuse to take sane measures to ensure that their possible covid-19 infection does not endanger others while using their equipment to harm the economy of the state during a covid-19-induced inflation.

The longer this goes the more it will hurt not only the affected governments, but also people participating in the protests.

NOTE: I am not against _peaceful_ protests that:
1. do not block the road for an extended amount of time (~2 hours)
2. Let EMS through when they need to get through.
3. Let people sleep in the night instead of honking like a retard the whole time

@kreyren Ok, so let me see if I got you correctly: You're only in favour of ineffective protests that do not reach their goals or achieve any meaningful change.

You're in favour of governments which coerce citizens in order to impose policies that don't work and make survival of small and medium enterprises nearly impossible.

You watch and trust MSM.

You're one of those who think of themselves as liberals when what you really are is a neoliberal anti-worker conservative.

> You’re only in favour of ineffective protests that do not reach their goals or achieve any meaningful change. -- @josemanuel

TL;DR:
1. I am centrist excluding technoliberalism in Scientific fields.
2. I watch MSM, but i do not trust them and i do my own research in the subject when it interests me while maintaining open-mind to discuss the subject
3. I am not against escalation of a protest that started as peaceful as long as no harm or threat is posed on other citizens e.g. letting them sleep at night
4. I am in support of improving policies by CA government if better solution is provided.

---

In my current political view:

No, i am in favor of peaceful protests, if these fail to achieve the desired effect then i am not against escalation.

But I also highlight that it's important to get a sufficient representation of the affected group so if it's a minority of the people representing the relevant group (transport industry in this case) then i do not find it justifiable for the protest to escalate.

And in case of violence i currently only approve of an economical damage and property, the violence should _NEVER_ be taken against other people and to pose a harm or threat on their life e.g. honking in the night so that they can't sleep which is the major thing for me to condemn it and support sending national guard.

For a context the BLM protest that broke businesses and lit cars on fire.
Back then i was against it, but after i recognized the importance for the required action to be taken so i am currently in support of such protests as long as harm and/or threat is not imposed on other citizens.

Note that this only includes US, EU, CA and UK i don't affiliate myself with internal politics of other counties so i won't comment on protests such as Kazakhstan.

> You’re in favour of governments which coerce citizens in order to impose policies that don’t work and make survival of small and medium enterprises nearly impossible.

I am not against improving the policies as long as better solution is proposed, but that is for local political parties to address. If you have a better solution then consider getting in touch with them or with people who are affiliated with government to propose such solution.

> You watch and trust MSM.

Yes i watch MainStream Media ("MSM"), but i do not trust them. I do my best to look at the info provided from multiple sources, ask relevant people on the subject if it interests me and i am doing my best to keep an open-mind to address any misinformation thus i asked people here in qoto.org/web/statuses/10776371 and took the information provided to make my statement + got in contact with canadian citizens in the area and asked them.

> You’re one of those who think of themselves as liberals when what you really are is a neoliberal anti-worker conservative.

I am centrist, my politics are not liberal excluding my technoliberal policy that is in support of Libre Open-Source Development.

@kreyren @josemanuel Here, #blacklivesmatter killed an 8 year old girl.

The stories of people getting killed by armed protestors probably aren't reaching international news. Or that it and the other fatal shootings somehow don't count.
Follow

@antares @josemanuel The website doesn't load for me, but injuries of any kind is why i am against violent protests.

@kreyren @josemanuel You likely need to use a proxy or Tor bypass whichever block your country is using.
The source is local news agency of Atlanta. A family was attacked by armed #blacklivesmatter protestors, and the incident resulted in an 8 year old's death. Her name is Secoriea Turner. You may or may not find other results under her name.

Both the archive link and this link is still live.

@antares @josemanuel i always use tor and changed the routing multiple times i guess it was 404 before, works now.

I was aware of some violence during the BLM, but i didn't know that there were ~19 fatalities tracked on wiki en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violence

Thanks for pointing that out

To clarify i am against all protests that cause harm to other people, animals (and androids when we get to that point), but i am not against non-fatal violence e.g. property damages, looting, etc.. if their claim is valid and the government too corrupt to listen so i supported BLM when it started peacefully and supported it until the violence got excessive and the demands changed into an unreasonable black supremacy and racism.

i currently apply the same logic for all other protests.

@kreyren @josemanuel I think the US government is too corrupt, but BlackLivesMatter is just another pawn in their game. If there is something the government wants, it is more power over its people because unlike a foreign country the US government can not deploy an army or bomb its own people/subjects.
There are two major obstacles to govt. power which is the 1st and 2nd Amendment rights of the people. If a conviction had been secured against Kyle Rittenhouse, it for example would be a case that seriously undermined self-defense.
