How is that a victory? This should have been a landslide victory for warnock in a healthy democracy

@kreyren @kaydubatl You are right to care. Authoritarians are ascendant across the globe. Consider reading Laboratories of Democracy and one of the many excellent books on US vote suppression. The fascist tactics of our Republican-ruled state governments are being exported to many democracies & you want to be able to recognize them. Then, pay attention to how Georgian Democrats fought back. No where is safe.

@kaydubatl @kreyren Go have a look at Georgia Republicans’ advanced vote suppression & gerrymandering. Look at how they forced the state govt into complete Republican rule. To wrench away a political win in that environment is a testimony to Georgian organizers & their incredible effectiveness. I hope they export their knowledge to other states w/Republican chokeholds.

@kreyren for those that live here in Georgia as myself, it is a HUGE victory that we are for damn sure proud of!!!!! The work and stress and all out efforts to get this done for this state and this country for the last 2 years / 4 elections was not an easy feat and we are gonna ride this moment until the wheels fall off!
