People seem to forget that "charcuterie" used to mean _just_ meats.

We should start using charFRUITerie to clarify.

@levisan i think of it as primarily meats but also including cheese, olives, pickles. but it is a slippery slope! pretty sooner or later a tray of mixed squares and cake-pops will get called “charcuterie” and that cannot stand!

@sabbatical I have heard "the kids these days" basically using it whenever it's a tray of bite-size food bits you might stab with a toothpick!
