Calling the USA "America" is like calling Central African Republic or South Africa "Africa" and no one does that because they're relatively insignificant. Maybe the USA will be like that one day.

I have a skewed perspective thanks to not ever having to do “dating” for the sake of finding a long-term relationship but it seems like all the options people have are either first-impression judgement by appearance or by meatspace social skills and both of those are not anywhere to close what I’m good at
