Finally I have found a solution

I'm kidding, I don't not want friends. I just want different friend-ing

A different social circle of mine has been sharing personal bingo cards so I might as well stick mine here as well.

Imagine a world where there’s no legal/moral/ethical/religious reason preventing you from "getting with" close relatives.

Is the only reason society doesn't like things like incest because of the biological reproductive downsides?

I think I’ve entered my “properly cooks food on the grill” era 💁

An introduction:

I live in a small town in the Canadian prairie with my wife and four kids.

I work from home as the IT sysadmin for a private school board that serves 4000+ students in three shared responsibility schools as well as traditional home ed. throughout Alberta.

I am of primarily Dutch descent en ik kan een beetje Nederlands spreken.

I spend my spare time with strange liquids: photo chemicals, beer, and kombucha.

I’m all for a good synecdoche.

But saying “condo” instead of townhouse or flat bugs me.

Maybe it’s because I'd rather know the form factor and not the ownership structure

I love the airplane taking off from the car though I'm not quite sure what the point is. Never seen that before!

Also didn't expect this video to be a period piece—I thought it as going to be something new but talking about the old.

I love how basic the explanation is (and needs to be, I guess). It's written like the audience knows nothing. Which makes sense considering 1937.

Last time I read this strip, I didn't know the song. Now I know the song.

10/10 would sing again.

The first rule of Etymology Club is, wait hold on did you know that the word "club" meaning a group of people with a common goal is of 17th century origin and refers to the idea of a mass of people as being like a club, in the older sense of a cudgel, what were we talking about?

There is a server on my home network called "trucky." I can ssh to it using my common "shit inside my home" credentials, it says it's connected via ethernet but I don't know which switch. It has 500G of disk space, 16GB of RAM, it's a bare bones Debian install, and my home directory just contains a copy of the GitHub cli. I do not know where this is. I cannot locate it.

Does anyone else sometimes not proofread text messages before sending, in order to seem more authentic, or am I the only one?

If you enjoy looking at badly shot and/or developed photos so that you can make yourself feel better for your own work, I just posted some over on the bird site. twitter.com/levisan/status/177
