To the 11 people who wished me a happy birthday by commenting on my mum's Facebag post, a type of greeting that only is getting to me because I wanted to write this, I thank you heartily, but I can't help but feel like you wished me a happy birthday more for the sake of your relationship with my mother than your relationship with myself.
