I've come to realise that non-tech-savvy people reading mainstream news sources about tech news might be the bane of my existence. Not the people, but the reading. I don't need MSN burying the lede and confusing people when it comes to upcoming changes to a platform's authentication methods, CBC fearmongring about password leak, or Fox News confidently telling everyone to “just clear your cookies”
Etymology, weird music, and a good cry https://buttondown.com/levisan/archive/181/
One of my domain names, which I use in part for subscribing to mailing lists to get it separate from my main email, seems to be on some kind of "don't let addresses with this domain in" list and/or just comes up as an invalid domain name. It's really annoying… especially considering I get a lot of spam to that address too.
I'm all for separation of things within the government, but when it takes a fitness centre run by the armed forces 19 days to acknowledge a request to cancel a membership and also have their automatic credit card charges denied due to fraud protection, it sure makes me wish someone with a little more power and skill was involved.
Fantastic music from a friend of mine trying to build up some subscribers so give him a follow
