Saw a thing about a conference for "interesting people" or something like that where you had to apply to get in and considering the price tag being more than I make in a month, I figured they have a pretty high bar for what is an interesting person. Makes me want to start a similar thing but for normal people.

I don't hate country music. I find it hard to hate an entire broad genre label. I just strongly dislike nearly every single country song I hear.

I also find it hard to love a genre. There's plenty of jazz I'll skip.

So every once in a while I see a thing about how "honk if you like pizza" bumper stickers actually mean that the owner is jokingly saying they don't have to pay attention to claxons from other drivers because they can brush it off as someone announcing they like pizza.

Thanks to the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, "friend" is meaningless in this day and age. We need to use specific terms for specific types of relationships to prevent this getting any worse.
