I white-wash nothing. I call the shots as I see them, and I have been watching video reports from many of these riots from many cities in the US. Including my own home town, Philly.

It was quite stunning to hear about -- and see -- places I am highly familiar with being overrun and torched and looted by these roving pack of idiots.

Of course, a supposed leftist such as yourself will try to paint this all in
terms of your own narrow-minded (read: leftist) view of the world.

Best to just ignore the guy. As best as i can tell he is some racist twat who goes around telling minorities thry arent really minorities unless they agree with him.

Plus he doesnt even seem to know the meaning of the phrase white wash, so like most racists, not very bright either.

Oh, he should love Joe Biden then, who thinks you cannot possibly be black unless you vote for him!!!!

I never imagine the Democrats dropping to that level of stupidity... worse than what I recall of the Republicans 20 years ago.

Must be a STuPID-19 mind virus going around...!

@lordalveric
Yea, though the republicans arent much better. This years election we are calling The Dementia Wars
@mutuality@social.coop

@freemo @mutuality@social.coop
At least the Republicans are running around like roving wild wolves burning down and looting everything in sight!!!!

@lordalveric
I have no idea what party the people out there support. Most of america doesnt like either party so the vast majority are likely a mix but no way to really know.
@mutuality@social.coop

@freemo @mutuality@social.coop
Except, they are coming from Democrat-dominated areas, and I have not heard of any rioting in Republican-dominated places, so one may make an "educated assumption" in these matters. :)

@lordalveric

Hardly an indication.People are driving in from all over to join in the protests.

@mutuality@social.coop

@freemo
There is that. All we can do is guess at this point...

Well, we might glean that they are leftists, for the most part. Yes, I know, we can't know that for sure, either. I am simply going by their actions.

Leftists and Chaoticis. What everyone else calls "Anarchists", but true Anarchy is about having rules without rulers. The looting and arson would strongly suggest a lack of rules and morality.

@lordalveric

Your grasping at straws in a desire to satisfy your inherent bias and agenda.

Could be right, could be wrong, but you've already made up your mind and are going to whatever lengths you can to find facts to fit it.. Thats the reverse order logic should go in.

@mutuality@social.coop

@freemo

This was not meant to be a rigorous dissertation. If I were publishing a paper on this, I would have to probe. I would have to hire teams to go to ground and simply ask the rioters about their political affiliation and ideology.

Yes, I am making a "best guess" based on the information I have at hand. And yes, I could be completely wrong. Perhaps they are all young republicans in angst!!! Somehow, I think that's unlikely, but hey, if someone can demonstrate that, I'll be more than happy to stand corrected.

One thing we can both agree on, I think, is that they are all young rebels without a clue. I wonder how many of them have their own place to live and are employed. I bet the vast majority are still living with their mummies.

And yes, I don't know that for sure either, but I deem that to be MOST LIKELY the case.

@mutuality@social.coop

@lordalveric

you always assume that reasonable logic is something that needs to be limited to rigerous dissertation. It isnt.

Ideally you should be using reasonable logic in your day to day life too.

@mutuality@social.coop

@freemo

I do, of course. But alas, we must all make decisions in a condition of insufficient information. So, I will do a "best guess" and be ready to shift when the actual data comes in and demonstrates otherwise.

And that is, my recalcitrant friend, reasonable logic.

@mutuality@social.coop

@lordalveric

the issue is more the way you come to a decision, not the fact that your doing so on limited information.

I often notice you draw a conclusion first, then try to manufacture the evidence to support it later. This of course tends to result in very sketchy evidence some of the time to say the least.

@mutuality@social.coop

@freemo

The rustling in the bush could be the wind. Or it could be a lion looking to eat you.

We all have to make snap decisions, and I tend to make mine from a combination of experience and the immediacy of the danger.

Like I said, I will be more than happy to change my mind when the evidence comes in.

In the case of George Floyd, we still don't have all the information regarding his interaction with the police. As far as I know, the police cam videos have not been released yet. The officer may have been justified in kneeing Floyd's neck. We simply do not know.

Some reports from the autopsy suggest that it was not the cop that killed him, but his medical condition.

I really don't have any sympathy for Floyd considering his criminal past as a felon. Had he a clean record, that would be a different matter.

As far as the counterfeit bill, I have not seen any investigation on that front. Did he have a big stack of counterfeit bills back at his flat? That would make all the difference as far as this situation is concerned.

My guess is that he did or said something to the police to make them treat him thusly. Maybe I am wrong on that too.
