Pluto has an atmosphere?
@freemo I would imagine that the tenuous "atmosphere" around the moon is much thinner, if for no other reason that it's a lot closer to the sun.
Good question, though.
@lordalveric I have no doubt, it is so thin it is barely an atmosphere. Its just a few ionized particles that degass whent he sun hits it.
Still I'd be curious about the ratio specifically. Its likely huge.
@freemo well, here's a wiki on the moon -- if it can be trusted. I guess the leftists have little interests in mudding up any of the exosciences. :)
@freemo So I would have to guess that Pluto's atmosphere is a lot thicker than the moon by at least a few orders of magnitude!!!! :D
@lordalveric ill check when i get a chance, but I expect that as well.
@lordalveric I wonder specifically what the density is compared to the very thin halo around the moon.
