The original author of Vim, Bram Moolenaar, has passed away 😔

Vim is probably the tool that I have been using the longest and enjoyed the most. I've even swapped between operating systems but kept with Vim in a form or another. Thank you Bram.

Did you write code for #Psion machines in the #80s and #90s?

We're calling for you to open source your code!

I'm working with a group of enthusiasts, building a library of information about the SIBO/EPOC16 platform. Your old code could give valuable insight, as well as encourage people to write new code.

We're especially interested in old C and #x86 #assembly.

Upload it to your public repository of choice, and set it free!

I mean that is a pretty cool idea, but I doubt the plastic used is food safe exactly.

Hey, it doesn't matter how long it takes you to reach the right destination. Only that you eventually arrive 😉

@thunderbird Looking foreward to the rebranding and name change someday for consistency, already on seems pretty functional and not as obnoxiously complicated as other options.

@RL_Dane @CleoQc @thunderbird The irony of CSD is that vertical space is only more valuable because 16:9 became standard due to TV manufacturers not wanting to have 2 sizes for manufacturing to cut costs.

When 1:1 3:2 5:4 or 16:10 was a thing having a space for a title bar wasn't a problem that needed solving.

I put up with CSD and understand it has optimal use cases such as on but to me 16:9 is the real problem.

Even from past use-cases such as dual or 3 monitor setups 16:9 isn't nearly as optimal as 16:10 or even 5:4 was.

Voyager 2 is temporarily out of contact with the Earth. On Friday, #NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory said that commands recently sent to the distant spacecraft inadvertently caused its antenna to point two degrees from Earth. #Voyager2 thus cannot receive commands from Earth, nor can the data it transmits be received on Earth. #JPL expects the situation to resolve in October when the spacecraft performs a pre-planned reset of its primary antenna, aligning it with Earth again.
