Goodbye

[Verse 1]
Only death lasts forever
It whispers under the pine branch
Must draw everything into its darkness
Even the sun will burn out

[Pre-Chorus]
But don't worry, we are with you
One last time, so we sing

[Chorus]
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
No miracle will happen
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
I had a nice time with you
[Verse 2]
You quietly rise from life
The soul goes on a quiet journey
Flesh perishes, spirit will rise
The being will surrender to death (Yes)

[Pre-Chorus]
In the end, you are all alone
But we will be with you

[Chorus]
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
No miracle will happen
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
I had a nice time with you

[Bridge]
Everyone dies alone (All alone)
But you will always be with us

[Chorus]
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
No miracle will happen
Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
I had a nice time with you

@PixelDroid @PascalCGN I've used the app for months and overall its pretty useful and nice.

Though, when I often find a post I REALLY like I checkout peoples profiles and then will star or bookmark my favorite content & follow.

I often loose my place in the feed and have to start from the top -- so I find using Brave and turning the website into a "App" a little better as I can simply [ open profiles in a new tab ]. Favorite & Close when done and resume my crawl through the feed.

So I guess if I had for and it would be -- I need to more easily be able to "Seek" or jump around in the feed -- or at least not loose my spot.

If I could Jump/Seek to a specific date or optionally break it up into [ Pages ] of say 50 - 100 posts that would make it easier to get back to where I was and also reduce bandwidth and data usage for me and the server.

I would also like to subscribe to (which i can do on the webapp iirc) and have timelines where my content is curated according to my subscriptions. It would be cool to be able to name my Timelines -- maybe "Work", " Sports" and nest hashtag subscriptions like , under one and under another so I don't need to have separate accounts to have different feeds.

No offence Mastodon, but we need to blog more.

The new pixelfed.org website we're building will feature a blog! It will be rolling out soon.

We plan to add ActivityPub support later so you can comment, like or share from anywhere in the fediverse 🚀

@M0streng0 @Tay0 To a degree. If you don't have GApps sideloaded then its a significant enough difference. However I did read that each device now has a Unique Advertising ID -- its worth looking into if this is removed.

At this time there really is no practicle answer for people wanting freedom & independence on smartphone, even the modem is on the same board as the CPU which is a threat vector. All smartphone modems in the world are made by 2 companies.

So, I've been working on #svg text layout for #Krita, and decided to write a massive blog post about my experience:

@FediTips hopefully this gets funnier as 2021 gets farther away but the shell shock of this is too real.

@CryptoBot If you don't have access to the code your "property rights" are immaginary

@lunearity Android can't really be fully degoogled, especially if you are doing it on Google Pixel hardware. You really don't want the modem soldered on to the same board as the CPU either if you care about such things which is 99% of devices out there.

The only way to win is to not play. Move back to pocket computers & dumb phones. Get a m.2 modem or LTE or something that can ACTUALLY run mainline linux without a million mystery binary blobs and disconnectable m.2 Bluetooth/WiFi/Modem

@grueproof Thunderbird version 100+ is really good and has gotten a lot of attention these last 2+ years.

Some people may also like MailSpring as it's more of a layman's tool getmailspring.com

For webmail roundcube is in pretty good shape

@neglesaks I always say no to smartphone questions -- no I don't even like phones yet alone want to spend any time on one.
