I will sell you dust and convince you it's worth something to someone else that you don't know.

You'll feel better about yourself by having something the nonexistent someone-else values.

You give me money, I give you a false sense of superiority.

Quick reminder that old games weren't as pixelated as you may think they were because CRT monitors had built-in antialiasing, so modern displays shows more of the blocky pixels than you used to see.

You can especially see the difference in the hair and jacket of the attached examples using Beltiana's character profile from Batsugun.

as cheesey as it may be- my favorite was the Turing Machine replica. There were a lot of other notable systems and gadgets(like vintage VR headsets), but seeing the collassal piano-like contraption was visably what stuck out the most. Mind you, its been many years since- but i would highly recommend visiting if given the chance. Walking through it doesn't take that long to do unless you _really_ want to take in the details- which only shows how genuinely interested you are in the history of the subject-matter.

If you like old computers, check out Jill's computer museum from the Destination Linux podcast network. Or go to silicon valley and go to the computer museum there. I still have my orange/black pin from the latter.

coudl have sworn they were used as body armor in a few movies

"First of all, we must be in harmony with ourselves; we must come to accept ourselves. The best way to achieve this is to never compare ourselves with others, because the moment we do, we then judge ourselves inferior or esteem ourselves as superior, resulting in either an inferiority complex or an inflated ego. In both cases the result is a state of disharmony. To avoid this, it is best to begin with the principle that each of us is a unique being and that this uniqueness gives us our worth in God’s view, as well as in the eyes of humanity. Therefore, we should hold to our own standard, comparing ourselves only to ourselves—this being the key to our spiritual evolution." Christian Bernard

Fun fact:::

Gamer words cannot and will not be found in M.Web. dictionaries as they are mutually exclusive to each other.
