"The mystic uses their intuition a great deal, and endeavors to see into the future and to look beyond appearances. She or he reads others’ souls and hearts. A mystic does everything they can to rise up above suffering and despair; they go past the clouds and so glimpse the Sun; being both on their own and connected to the great All, they never forget that to accomplish great things we must be able to do small ones perfectly. The mystic knows that duty well carried out is an act of love and of service; and that for the service to have its full meaning, it must be selfless. It must be a gift of oneself to others, joyously agreed to, and not undergone as a great sacrifice. Love and giving should not be likened to suffering and renunciation, quite the reverse: were this the case, it would no longer be a question of love, but of masochistic behavior. True service only gives rise to good feelings, and expects nothing in return." Christian Bernard

You're insulting garnishes- AI is residue at best. Optimists look at AI as pepper grinders. But expired spices going through a pepper grinder doesn't make it any better a dish.

I love using a joystick as a mouse- as it's stupid cumbersome compared to a traditional mouse- and its that much more immersive into a 'battle station' than a 'work desk'.

Internet Protocol television (IPTV), also called TV over broadband,[1][2] is the service delivery of television over Internet Protocol (IP) networks. Usually sold and run by a telecom provider, it consists of broadcast live television that is streamed over the Internet (multicast) — in contrast to delivery through traditional terrestrial, satellite, and cable transmission formats — as well as video on demand services for watching or replaying content (unicast).

@icedquinn

If I was a full-time content creator, I'd have no excuse. Since I'm not, I spend most of my free time trying to avoid overly catering to fanbase.

Maybe just stop watching and binge after a while?

The Internet Archive losing its appeal means one thing: pirate stuff. Pirate brazenly. There’s no point trying to do it the nice way - you’ll get shut down anyway. Copy, share, and archive to your heart’s content. It’s the only way we’re keeping digital media and our cultural memory intact.

I think Internet Archive and other libraries should be allowed to also lend digital copies.

(I also think AI companies should be required to get licenses for every text they scrape)

But the law and its interpretation isn't always what we'd like, and that's a risk IA should've taken into account. And I think it was reckless of them to endanger their primary goal of digital preservation by doing the righteous-but-risky ebook lending.

EFF’s @cooperq and Will Greenberg built Ray Hunter, a tool designed to detect unusual cellular activity like that which comes from cell site simulators deployed by law enforcement. @WIRED took Ray Hunter for a walk around the Democratic National Convention.
