Today's random card from the Druid Craft Tarot deck is the Eight of Pentacles.
A man pours molten metal to forge a pentacle.
This card is about sticking to what you're good at.
If this card appears in the Thoughts/ Decisions row then it can mean ensuring that your decisions are made based on what you know best about; seek information from others who know their field best if outside your speciality.
If this card appears in the Feelings and Emotions row then it can mean doing something for a loved one or friend that you're good at.
If the card appears in the Physical and Material world row then it can mean that any investments or purchases should be in moderation and carefully considered.
(You may interpret the card differently)
Details of the spread I use are on a pinned post.

Our dogs got toys for Christmas, as usual. Leo wasted no time removing the squeaker from his. But I was quite surprised to find a message hidden inside the toy. #Christmas #dogsOfMastodon

With all this chatgpt hoopla, I'm reminded of a section from Asimov's I, Robot:

"in a little while, Dr. Lanning and Dr. Bogert will be here with this complicated question. We'll give it to you a very little at a time and very slowly, because we want you to be careful. We're going to ask you to build something, if you can, out of the information, but I'm going to warn you now thta the solution might involve ... uh ... damage to human beings.

I had no idea that #gitea went for-profit.

Glad I happened across this:

When you can't buy presents or can't bother- so you make food instead.

Meanwhile if you are Welsh, now is the time of year where a skeleton horse might show up at your door and challenge you to a rap battle.

If you lose the horse comes into your house and drinks your booze.

Twitter blue tick for Taliban

Well things do seem to be going well over on #twitter as Elmu gives the Taliban a blue tick 👀

Interesting proposal, that's one expensive rubrics cube...

The "we cannot do a journalism without quote tweets" argument is ... I'm sorry, it's the *worst* rationalization for that feature I have seen so far. My catty response would be, "Wow! You mean journalism was invented in the year 2015? Amazing!"

My even cattier response would be that, here, on this site, I covered a "straight pride" parade turning into a police riot. I was posting, complete with CWs, with the taste of pepper spray in my throat.

Find. A. Better. Argument.

An anecdotal report on the growth of Mastodon. When I joined in early November, there was maybe 1-2 posts about #CriticalRole in my Home feed on Thursday nights. Now, towards the end of December, my Home feed is flooded with them.

I _really_ need to stop doxx'ing myself..
