@lupyuen Any requests for what I unload Ghidra on for the BL602? Also what code suits your work better? And yes you do get priority code before Pine.
@AmpBenzScientist Hmmm sorry I'm not doing much work on the BL602 BLE / WiFi right now, so I can't provide the reverse engineering requirements.
Perhaps you can chat with the Nutcracker team on Matrix? Wonder if they have anything specific that they need. E.g. for porting a new BLE / WiFi stack to BL602.
Thanks! 🙏
@lupyuen I don't know if I am fully in the loop with what they do. The code I provided seemed to be of great assistance for porting. I'm not sure that they would want the original source code or rather as close to it as I can get.
@AmpBenzScientist Yeah things get a little fuzzy because there's no Software Lead for the project.
If we're not sure how to start, I suggest we take a short break until the reverse engineering requirements become clearer 🙂
@lupyuen I was just told that they didn't want BL code. They need to know how it works.
@AmpBenzScientist Haha OK maybe we take it slow then ... I'm not clear which direction we're heading 🤷🏻♂️
@lupyuen I'm considering stepping back from the community and only communicating with a few of them when they need something. It's starting to seem more Pine oriented than the larger Open Source Community. I'm not going to waste my time dealing with them when I can just bypass them and do more good. "...and do all of it for free." I see what you mean. I've grown disillusioned by doing it for free and you're the only person affiliated with the community that has acknowledged what I did. Some have given me some praise but the criticisms are making me want to pull it away from them and get it functional just to keep it as an external github. Eventually I would like to gain employment and I don't see a future in continuing to work as if I was under their employment.
@AmpBenzScientist Yeah I know what you mean ... It's hard to get appreciated when we do open source work!
Maybe sometime in future someone will truly appreciate the work you have done. Meanwhile just relax, stay healthy and watch out for opportunities 🙂
@AmpBenzScientist Haha that's awesome! I think if you do something in open source that's meaningful, people will notice eventually 🙂
