@Lwasserman Just think... Any gadget with an SPI port can become an SWD Programmer now... Laptops, phones, all kinds of microcontrollers too!
Woke up in the middle of the night and realised... SWD consists of only 3 bit sequences: 1️⃣ Read Register 2️⃣ Write Register 3️⃣ Reset... So why not connect the SPI port to an FPGA to trigger these SWD bit sequences? 🤔

A cheap #FPGA can convert a standard SPI 4-wire interface into an SWD Programmer... I think 🤔 https://medium.com/@ly.lee/openocd-on-raspberry-pi-better-with-swd-on-spi-7dea9caeb590?source=friends_link&sk=df399bfd913d3e262447d28aa5af6b63

@hilaire@pouet.chapril.org @PINE64 Oh and Pinebook Pro doesn't have a touchscreen. If you need one, maybe the upcoming PineTab is better https://www.pine64.org/pinetab/
@hilaire@pouet.chapril.org @PINE64 Yep the choice of operating system matters too... @ManjaroARM with #Xfce feels so much more responsive than Debian Mate that I have been using

@ManjaroARM Honestly I was surprised that Manjaro Xfce doesn't have the bugs I saw in Ubuntu Desktop 20.04 64-bit on Pi 4...
(1) Ubuntu doesn't detect the onboard Bluetooth hardware.
(2) Ubuntu Desktop can't switch display resolution (forced to run at sub-1080p resolution).
(3) Ubuntu display driver renders black blocks sometimes.
Great job @ManjaroARM !

@ManjaroARM Seems OK so far. Managed to install packages over WiFi without problems. There was some screen flickering, maybe that's my faulty HDMI cable
