space-3d generates #3D Sci-Fi space skyboxes in #WebGL by layering stars and nebulous clouds. space-3d displays an animated 3D preview of the skybox supporting zoom and enabling/disabling of the constituent layers. space-3d's concepts applied to 2D generation are detailed in blog form.
