Public feeds on major #socialmedia platforms are now fully taken over by professional content creators, so the platforms are adapting and starting to charge those professionals.
I'm not sure how much "social" there's left in social media.

@iaintshootinmis one alternative certainly worth considering is https://www.jhipster.tech/ But that takes you only so far without bespoke development. Then comes the issue of how familiar are users with each of the interfaces and how readily are they willing to learn each of these. We're designing systems for users, right? It's not that users need to adapt to systems that suit us

How the... the word "impressive" made it in this phase of the abstract: "Experimental results show that Kosmos-1 achieves impressive performance on"? Is this meant to be science or sports commentary?
RT @AlphaSignalAI@twitter.com
Microsoft's new Kosmos-1 is incredible.
It's a new Multimodal Large Language Model (MLLM).
Their model can understand images, text, images with text, OCR, image captioning, visual QA.
It can even solve IQ tests.

Happening now: Israeli settlers are burning Palestinian houses, cars and shops in Huwarra near Nablus , Palestinians has no protections.
RT @btselem@twitter.com
The Jewish Supremacist regime carried out a pogrom in the villages around Nablus yesterday. This isn't “loss of control”. This is exactly what Israeli control looks like. The settlers carry out the attack, the military secures it, the politicians back it. It’s a synergy. >

It's worth mentioning, computational models of facial beauty seems to be quite a thing in Hong Kong, China, and Korea (though that might just be the rabbit holes that I got lost in a few years ago). It's pretty wild.

The furnaces of the world are now burning 2 billion tons of coal a year. When this is burned.. it adds about 7 billion tons of CO2 to the atmosphere..
This tends to make the air a more effective blanket for the earth and raise its temperature.
