Who else here uses the old reverse polish notation () calculators of HP? One of the best is the HP42S - quite expensive on the second hand market. A free alternative is the Free42 app of Thomas Okken: thomasokken.com/free42/

SwissMicros has built an actual calculator, DM42, based on the Free42 software swissmicros.com/product/dm42

Edward Shore has a nice calculator blog, on which he posted a fibonacci program of mine for the Free42 / DM42 , in two versions. edspi31415.blogspot.com/2022/0

@markodraisma I installed NewRPL, an open-source RPL/RPN firmware on an HP 50g and some HP 39gs calculators. They run very quickly since it's compiled native ARM code, and not a Saturn CPU emulator running on the ARM that's executing some variation of the HP 48 series code. newrpl.wiki.hpgcc3.org/doku.ph if you've not seen it.

@lmamakos That's cool! I don't have any of the target calculators, butwhen I do, this looks like a fine option.
