Nonfiction, because they're still describing what we observe, even if what we observe is made up. For example, literary criticism is nonfiction, even though the subject itself is (usually) fiction.

@trinsec Okay, I went back and looked: I didn't realize the Reply feature quoted automatically. Still learning my way around.

@medigoth If you wanted to respond to that person you quoted specifically, you'd best just use the Reply feature, or mention them in your response. A Quote doesn't automatically inform the quoted person.

@medigoth Yeah, this is the normal reply where you start a conversation thread.

The @-thing is not quoting but a mention. Just so you know!

@trinsec, thanks for your patience. :) Does this reply look normal?

@medigoth Yup! As you can see, if you click on this post, you can see the posts before that were responded to. A proper conversation thread. :)

Welcome to the Fediverse!

@medigoth You can still go and give Crazypedia's original post a proper reply if you want to interact with them. :)

Whoa! I didn’t know that #QOTO’s quote system was assimilated into #Soapbox so that it shows up properly on this end! Very cool @alex
