B.

@pschwede time is the distance between observable statuses. If you want to measure something you have to relate it to something else. You can't say that time slowes down unless you define the reference to what. So if you have a mechanical clock with you when you travel through space, this is your reference.

@pschwede when you measure protons per time. Time has a value. And it's related to something else. There is no absolute time.

@pschwede "If time slows down on earth, intensities like photon radiation from sun (=photons per time unit) would decrease." How to we get to know that?

If we could detect that the earth is beginning to slow down in rotation. What is the reference? Our atom clock? Or the time of rotation around the sun? Would we get older faster?

@pschwede you can't detect it, there is no reference we could compare it to, no this would be the time of so and so.
