So much fun to drive a truck on German roads at 150 Kmph when the speed limit is 90 Kmph while avoiding potential accidents and everything.

Delivering a construction driller from London to Istanbul ![]()
@trinsec
I am getting €204665 for that deliver, I am wondering do real drivers get that much money or not.
@mur2501 Probably their bosses. I don't think they own their own trucks in most cases? Unless this is a freelancer job. I dunno, seems a bit a lot of money for a few days' travelling. But a construction driller seems more like a job outsourced to a large shipping company.
Note: I know absolutely nothing about this. I'm just trying to think logically about it. ;)
@trinsec
That's around €58.5 or ₹5225 for every kilometre. Truck drivers are only paid I think ₹10 - 15 per kilometre for long runs.
@mur2501 Hah, I knew it. 😋
Bit too boring for me. I'm the person who'll grab the opportunity to fast-travel in every game when the game offers it!
Whoever said "It’s all about the Journey, not the Destination" can go jump in a lake. For me it is all about the destination! Scotty, beam me up!
@trinsec
I like simulation games ![]()
And Euro truck sim 2 is build very good and detailed to make it very fun to play for long time especially for someone like me who has never seen Europe ![]()
It could be boring if you only want alot of action but I rather like a small amount of action.
@mur2501 I like some simulators too. But sitting in a truck and driving around is not one of them. ;)
But I do like games like Locomotion, Railroad Tycoon, Transport Tycoon Deluxe, etc. Also about transport, but at least you get to manage it and speed up things and such.
Granted, there was one train game that I actually enjoyed driving around in for a bit...

@mur2501 I want to say 'why the heck are you driving a truck on a german road above the speed limit?'
But I'm suspecting the more logical thought is 'Are you playing European Truck Simulator?'
