What do Fediverse thinks about the ever growing (online)influencer culture??

@mur2501 I think as long as they are responsible and transparent regarding promoting items there isn't a problem, the issue comes from when they promote misleading or dangerous ideas weather intentionally or by mistake, (everyone can make a mistake)

It also perhaps depends on the audience, are the audience capable of looking up information presented and confirming to themselves that reliable., Tell the difference between fact, satire, fiction for example.

There is no reason why someone on the fediverse can do the same thing, talk about what is important to them Peertube could be a good platform for that,

@mur2501 Pretty boring, I just don't watch that kinda stuff.

@mur2501 i would say somewhat a good thing and a bad thing. like another user said depends on what they are promoting and same with there fans.
