One of the many hidden scenic gems of my town.
The small lake is just an offshoot of a Canal. The mountain here known as 'Mahuli' is itself part of the Western Ghats(locally called Sahyadri) of India, a 1600 Km long mountain chain running parallel to the western coast of India. The range is populated with Tigers, Leopards, Hyenas, Deers, etc as well as hundreds of species of Birds and Reptiles especially snakes.
