It's a shame that SC Jack Smith hasn't nailed TFG yet, but the grand finale will likely be worth the wait: SC Jack Smith is probing whether surveillance video at Mar-a-Lago subpoenaed by a federal grand jury was TAMPERED with, CNN reports. Smith appears to be focused on what, if anything, happened to the surveillance video after it was subpoenaed by investigators last summer-: https://talkingpointsmemo.com/morning-memo/jack-smith-mar-a-lago-video-tampered-obstruction
Due to a massive number of spam reports we have temporarily limited mastodon.social until there is a clear report that they resolved the issue.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and just predict that he's a right-wing Trump voter. He's MAGA all the way - and he apparently has the guns to prove it.
This is exactly what I'm talking about when I say that the problems in the U.S. are profoundly more different and dangerous than the ones in Europe. I'm not saying that Europe doesn't have problems, but we don't have the right-wing over here armed with dangerous weapons and with an ideology that tells them that it's okay to walk around with them in public and to shoot anyone they think is looking at them the wrong way - including kids.
The CNN town hall "is an incredible gift to Trump." Trump's soft ban on Fox is lifted. 2016 is calling, and it's warning us.

Our #democracy is literally at stake. So why are #political strategists wasting their time heeding the words of the same-old #pundits and trying to woo the unwinnable #voters
"American #political #journalism is so hilariously broken, isn’t it? We’re at a point where a #news network is platforming an indicted former president and treating him like he’s a normal candidate by giving him a town hall (I’m looking at you, CNN)." writes @andreagrimes

@natharari Actually, I shouldn’t let the alt-left off the hook either. Seen from a cosy distance, in sunny Southern California, Jean-Luc Mélenchon is every bit as much of an opportunist as Donald Trump, and almost as good at lying.
I don’t want to ruffle anyone’s feathers here on Mastodon, but that’s how it seems to me, as a moderate centrist who considers himself socially and fiscally “responsible”.
@natharari It’s a new reality in today’s world, and French alt-right political movements are trying to take advantage of it as well, not to mention those self-immolating #Brekshit fanatics.
