OK, so the Privileges Committee found that Johnson had not only lied to Parliament, he'd also lied to the Committee.

Now, maybe I'm remembering this wrong, but didn't he testify to the Committee under oath?

I wonder if the Committee will have the balls to refer him to the police for perjury?

"[the] denials and explanations were so disingenuous that they were by their very nature deliberate attempts to mislead"

In any other field of life than politics, that'd be a professional death sentence. Would you trust a doctor of whom that could be said? An engineer? A childminder?

There is not enough irony in the world to unpack this accidentally comedic bellend's obsequiousness.

@statsguy Touché. A drop in the bucket of opprobrium that he rightly deserves, but significant by its mere existence nonetheless.

Fuck off, Johnson, you sociopathic lying shit.

UK Politics

@statsguy I'm shocked. Shocked, I say!

Not sure if I’m more surprised that eternally bleach-brained Dorries knows that a Subject Access Request is a thing, or that she clearly has no clue what a SAR is for.

@davep I thought that looked fun. Will have to wait until I’ve finished wading through The Blacklist on Netflix Canada though.

@HuShuo @Saupreiss @JRBuckley I love that it used “precision”, not “accuracy”. 😙👌

If anything ChatGPT is good at anything, it’s generating vast quantities of plausible-sounding bullshit.
