@ef4 Nice! Thanks for the heads u.
@crschmidt Kind of ironic how the DCR is a bigger obstacle than the DOT in MA
@lowqualityfacts this dude killed his brother and married the guy's wife, and the dead guy's son got everyone killing everyone.
I can't get over the story of the Texas professor suspended for criticizing the Lt.Governor. This is how fu**ed up this is:
The conservative student should have known better; her conservative mother should have known better; the Lt.Gov should have known better; the Lt.Gov's staff should have known better; and the University should have known better.
Any ONE of them should have shut down the complaint and stood up for free speech. But every one of them went full fascist.
@julieofthespirits
I'm calling them 𝕏crements, and the verb is 𝕏crete. You can use 💩 as an abbreviation.
@marcoarment would that make men who post a lot on that site tenors?
@DemonHusky @crschmidt the one cafe by there closed during Covid. There is Gepettos, on the far end of the CPX, though.
@crschmidt @DemonHusky The Bike Stop will have to rebuild after the fire. SO now they do have a chance to try to get approved for a better interface to the path. When I spoke to them they said other businesses wanted bikers to make the effort to get to them, so they actively opposed anything that would lure them to a business that's right next to the path. Worth trying again now, methinks.
@crschmidt @astory there's also the diner at the Concord train station. That goes right onto the path.
@crschmidt there is also Revolution Hall
@crschmidt getting approval to do it is hard. The bike store on the path had to settle for being allowed to open the back door.
@freemo You're obviously in the pay of Big Bird.
