Hi! Is there any way to read all the Privacy Cookbook articles?
The website only gives me this: dt.gl/tag/privacy-cookbook/

Holy Sh** #Microsoft has installed the simplest backdoor in your #Linux VMs without you knowing about it.

Microsoft Azure silently install management agents on your Linux VMs without an auto update mechanism, so you have to update manually but you don't know they exist because you didn't install them? 🤔

Simply remove the auth header and you are root. Remotely on all machines.🤯

Did you actually read what you're posting? That's crazy.

I'm not sure how long that one person in particular spent locked, maybe they had a negative test a week or 2 later.
Just saying that being locked for 4 weeks is a norm here (Russia) because they would test you again and again until you get a negative one, even with no symptoms.

@digdeeper@mastodon.honeypot.im
In my place they lock people who were unlucky to test positive for up to 4 weeks. There was even a case where someone did 2 more tests that were negative (they did not have symptoms) and still they had to stay locked.

It has come to our attention that a recent change in Chrome and its derivatives has broken CryptPad's spreadsheet export function.

We're working on a solution, but in the meantime Firefox still behaves as expected.

Using Debian SMTP server is quite easy, you just need to report a bug using reportbug utility and not provide your SMTP server.

Run 'reportbug --configure' and one of the defaults is using Debian SMTP server. Above command by itself does not send out any info AFAIK, so it's safe to play around with.

@resist1984
Do you mean that Debian mailserver does not accept your emails or that Debian SMTP server does not accept a connection from your machine to send a bugreport for you?
These are the 2 options they have, I used both.

This decision is a slippery slope, and could lead to backdoors in all major encrypted messaging apps.

Whether or not you think that safety is worth the cost of being under mass surveillance, the simple fact is this: 72% of Europeans oppose these laws.

So, I just read your last toot.
It is possible to change some words, and that toot would be about cardiovascular diseases, and the number would be not just sad, but staggering.

So why no one (at least where I live) is concerned about that? From my perspective they do almost nothing to stop that.
This makes me think all this fight-covid-save-lives narrative is totally fake and they have some other reason behind all the measures. The most innocent one would be political points, looking good in front of the voters.
