Stacklands had, for me, the same arc (on a smaller scale) as FTL:
- This is sort of interesting, but the graphics are underwhelming.
- This is too hard.

Wait, but what if I ... - Oh, I can give orders while the game is paused? This changes everything!
- I got a sense of completion from beating the main objective, but the bonus objective(s) would be too tedious.
It’s clever. Definitely got my $4 worth.

I’m trying stick to a nice budget so I won’t have a too large a backlog. I mean, shit, I’ve got over 3k games, surely I should play some of those first before getting much more! 😅
@peterdrake Oh neat, it can be paused? That does change everything indeed! 😅 I already had it wishlisted, I think I’ll get it next sale. So probably in the winter.
