Ok so we have learned now that Vitamix does not make good blenders. I am not sure why so many people seem to like them.

This seems to come out of nowhere... my Vitamix does the job. The motor is powerful enough for what I expect it to do.
Is there a masto thread that im missing?
@CleoQc Just first-hand experience. I got a Vitamix last month and it has not once successfully made a (frozen fruit) smoothie without stalling out, in addition to the normal problem most blenders have where the contents get all bunched up and the blades spin freely.
@pganssle @CleoQc Ours has handled everything we've thrown at it, including making nut butter. Any chance yours is defective in some way?
