One way I feel increasingly disconnected with the rest of society is when people complain about a particular commercial.
I cannot remember the last time I saw a commercial, but it must be easily a decade. If a source a) has commercials and b) I can't block them, I don't watch that source, ever.
@trinsec I know what you mean. I recently found out about an interesting-looking traditional network TV series ... from 2017. I managed to scrounge a copy and watched a few of them (without commercials). Not bad, if also not on balance a great use of time.
@pieist Well, mostly reality TV here. 'Boer zoekt vrouw' (Farmer searches wife), 'Wie is de mol' (who is the mole), the various ones that's on Discovery channel now that Discovery channel isn't really about discovery anymore.. same for National Geographic.
I just am not interested in scripted 'reality' crap.
@pieist I'm already out of touch with people who watches series you see on TV... the sort that you won't see on streaming media because even for that it's too lame.
