Okay, call me a troll, but I think a perfectly acceptable reason for pretty much anything on social media was provided by Kathleen Turner's character in the Steve Martin film "The Man With Two Brains":
"I like to watch the veins BULGE in your forehead."
I mean really, what better reason is there?
@ceoln I'm just sad that she doesn't get more credit for that line. I mean these days that's half of what passes for human civilization summed up right there.

That's more of a Twitter thing, I think.
Or perhaps it's a matter of how well curation works.
I virtually always get the vein-bulging feeling when I look back into Twitter; I hardly ever get it here.
