I still haven't managed to come close to as many solid, human-curated Ukraine news follows as on Twitter. And no, I really don't care to follow Twitter mirror-bots.

@pieist Yes, the fediverse still seems a little thin on Ukraine coverage, relatively speaking. Apart from the #ukraine hashtag, I get some additional info sometimes from following @timkmak and @TheOldGuy.
And although it's not in the fediverse, I find https://phillipspobrien.substack.com/ to be pretty useful on substack. His (mostly free) articles usually cover big-picture stuff and provide further vetted links.
@aebrockwell @pieist @timkmak Sorry. I have been out of commission due to a foul up with the cell provider. Everyone in the network had to get new SIM cards because they are going to 5G. They sent me the wrong SIM card was what the guy figured out yesterday. They have to send me a new one. I am in Branson yesterday and today using a real computer
