I find ones mental health is directly proportional to ones comfort with silence.
When I am not in as healthy a mental state, just some stress or whatever, nothing too significant, I find silence, particularly at the end of the day, as very uncomfortable, almost has a depressing feel to it. But if i keep music or the TV on, even in the distance without watching it that goes away.
But when i am in a healthier place I rarely even notice the silence and when I do it can be relaxing and soothing.
Is this just me?
@freemo weird. I mostly felt comfortable with silence during my "episodes".
Human brain is a very complex thing afterall.

Agreed Mr. Freemo i just saying that it felt weird from my perpective since i'm a that kind person which enjoy his personal space so much so that i generally avoids people. 
@ravenclaw Absolutely understandable.. sometimes another persons perspective, particularly when describing their internal mental state, can seem quite alien.

@ravenclaw Not everyone is the same, or even similar of course. Nor is the nature of ones "episode".. I suppose there is a different sort of unhealthy that i could potentially get into from time to time, where I enjoy silence just a bit too much. This would be the sort of mentality where my productivity is very low... it is rare for me though.
