@kentborg a long discussion of the points in the process the judge could rule in tRumps favor and which can be effectively appealed and many that can not. She does not seem concerned about her reputation being forever trashed.
She was appointed by tRump after he lost the election and totally unqualified but the GOP controlled Senate rushed her through anyway. Many of his judge appointments were both far right wing and poorly qualified including those to the Supreme Court.
Judge Cannon has exactly 14 days of actual trial experience over 4 criminal trials. That’s it. And now she is refusing to recuse herself from one of the biggest trials in American history. This even after she was smacked down by the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals for her bias, miss-application, misunderstanding and ignorance of the law. Cannon is in over her head. But as a MAGA Cult Member. She must try and rescue Trump.
As for Jack Smith. He was a Prosecutor in Tennessee and New York. Smith then prosecuted corrupt politicians before moving to The Hague where he prosecuted war criminals since 2018.
