I used to host Science On Top, a science news podcast. But then 2020 happened, and after 9 years it has podfaded.
I'm a skeptic, a geek, and a sci-fi buff. I'm both intrigued and frustrated by politics & journalism.
But mostly I just toot random things that come to mind, or silly jokes, or memes. You're not always going to get intellectual profundity, but hey anything's possible.

Right now my Twitter feed is all about Twitter and my Mastodon feed is all about Mastodon. Hopefully at some point this will stop being the case :-)

This is handy: “Fedi.Directory is a curated selection of accounts on Mastodon and the wider Fediverse that focus on specific topics. They’re mosty hand-picked by the maintainer, but people can make suggestions too including suggesting their own accounts.”
If you came here from Twitter, I recommend using twitodon.com to help you follow your Twitter friends who have already moved. Only works if they've used Twitodon as well, though, so worth checking back every now and then. Anyone have any other recommendations?

when you overexpose night photos and you have a lot of moon light and no artificial light you get pictures which look like they are taken on a sunny day - just with stars.
