@absolutus @freemo erm... why setup qoto.org? How/where is it hosted? How do you expect to cover hosting costs? What scalability limits do you think qoto might face? As I say, really I’m curious/nosy about some of this stuff.

QOTO was setup as a place on the internet for scholars to have mature, open, and honest debates without needing to deal with the toxicity found throughout many other online communities.
We have multiple servers located in several different countries.
Server costs are paid via donations. We currently have enough funds to operate well above current capacity for several years.
I cant speak on scalability limits but the software is running in an elastic amazon environment and can currently scale rather easily for many more users than is currently supported.
