I don't know if I actually believe that Kanye is able to do such a high level play, but its an interesting theory.

I think it’s worth commenting, the only appeal sites like this one (the Fediverse) and Parler have is towards conservatives banned off twitter and people who see social media censorship as a problem. And unfortunately the average person browsing twitter does NOT think social media censorship is a problem.

You have retards leaving reddit to join a "better reddit" (ruqqus) because they claim they won't censor. And guess what? Reddit claimed the exact same shit when it started out. Gan claimed the exact same shit when it started out. You simply can't trust any centralized service if you start to give them power.

Sure we have all the fediblock autists but I'd rather have them than some power-drunk CEO trying to swing an election with manipulative algorithms. Fuck centralization.
