Quite possibly the most telling opening to a news article I’ve seen recently…
“Sitting onstage in front of a crowd of 2,000 evangelical Christians, Gov. Kim Reynolds signed a law Friday immediately banning the vast majority of abortions in Iowa.”
Mind you, these are people would be horrified if they were forced to live under Muslim or Jewish theocratic law (and would call it an affront to the constitution.). I cannot emphasize how much I despise these people.

Conversely, I know many progressive people who won't help anyone.
I just don't get it.
