@murtezayesil @mike some days the struggle to write is real. But even writing about the struggle is all part of the process and the 🙂

@dajbelshaw not at all. The challenges of POSSE, particularly when it is automated.

@thenewoil @freddy and insider would make a lot of sense as security experts generally say it is easier to hack people than systems.

@dajbelshaw I was a classics and ancient history major and it was a classical education which has made me the manager I am today.

So I couldn't agree more about quality education NOT being about the job in quo.

A university is an institute for the furtherance of knowledge, not a technical training college. It saddens me so many universities are taking, or being forced down, the 'technical skills only please' route.

@dajbelshaw perhaps controversially, given I just setup on Ghost, the theme change is more promoted by an interest in Wordpress. Been keen to look into some Indieweb capabilities and finding this implementation not feasible in WP than Ghost.

And glad you have been enjoying my posts. At the risk of this descending into a mutual admiration society, have found your work very interesting and am very much enjoying it.

@dajbelshaw it is an exceptionally lean theme and one I very nearly went with myself (I am also mulling a refresh). But will likely end up with Generate Press.

‘Bloated’ (at 30kb) by comparison to Susty, but more feature rich and can be extensively styled from the GUI.

@basil @randynose probably a job add posted for an internal applicant. I have seen this often. Manager has a candidate for a role. Takes their resume, 12 years experience in SQL etc., and posts that knowing in all likelihood only one applicant will fit. The one they already have.

Gets compliance off their back...

wow, look at the rich details of #OpenStreetMap in comparison to #GoogleMaps:
while Gmaps looks like a work with MS paint, OpenStreetMap shows you a full construction plan incl.lifts, ticket vending maching, public telephone, recycling container, rubbish bin and also so many many more shops in the building:

@markosaric interesting that a higher number of Chrome and Google search users block Google Analytics than Safari users.

Perhaps speaks to the more default settings approach of Mac users? In that some might think ‘Apple take my privacy seriously so I don’t need to do anything.’ Be interesting time survey...

Day #072 of and what started with the shortest of posts, snowballed into a longer piece as I warmed to the subject of autonomous workplaces.
