I never really realised how crazy rabies is.

@levisan yeah my wife and i were just talking about this earlier tonight — a kid in our city just died of rabies from a bat falling on him during vacation up north. we’ve had bats land on my wife multiple times here at home, never thought to have her get rabies shots since she felt no bites, but neither did that kid!
@levisan well she seems like she knows what she’s doing. maybe it’s a well calculated risk or that population doesn’t have any rabies going around
@sabbatical Yeah, that's a good point. The whole holding in the hand while moving it around makes it seem like she's very aware of what needs to happen
@levisan and how she attaches it to the nipple after checking for milk. no way i could reliably check a bat for milk production!
