We put on suits and ties, went to Wall Street, and used our knowledge to create billionaires and the biggest financial nightmares the world has ever seen. The cost of which we're only just starting to see.

@olavf Yes, I did a lot of experiments related to texture. After combining all the ingredients in the food processor and adjusting moisture so that it circulates slowly, I let the processor run on high power for seven minutes. This results in a texture that's very smooth but still contains microscopic grains.

If you want a mouth feel as smooth as butter and to eliminate the grains you have to peel the beans -- remove the transparent shells from the beans. That's too much trouble so I don't do it. Lol. Plus, the shell bits are fiber and add to the healthfulness of it.

Anyway, I have a "standard" recipe and some variations like smoked hummus and oregano hummus. I've also experimented with sweet versions and chocolate, but none of those were exciting. For me, hummus is about the garlic and olive oil.

Today I helped take down (temporarily) an antenna from the top of the PREOC building because they are installing solar panels over the whole roof. We were going to put up the other HF antenna that was taken down on the lower roof for the same reason a year ago. Could not do it because the company doing the roofing and panels did not think about the radio antennas and put obstacles in our way. For the present time, our PREOC has no functioning radios. It's time the powers that be took this situation more seriously. No one seems to think radios are important anymore until they need them/us.
