I had a coworker named Aja who is of mixed race and absolutely beautiful and some creepy guy kept trying to get her to tell him her race and she would NOT give him the satisfaction and the conversation went something like this:

Creep: So, where are you from?
Aja: Chicago.

I don't want to worry you uneccesarily, but the smattering of stories on the new #avianflu strain that are creeping into the media is starting to look like the drip drip of stories in January 2020 before the acceleration of #Coronavirus.

Now it may be I/we are just more aware of such stories now, and of course the #pandemic has changed much of the infection environment but we have also have been warned another #pandemic is almost inevitable...

so is this the first sign?

@oskay explained to someone that the version of EM wave theory they learned from talking to ChatGPT got basic concepts wrong and that all the words they use are right, but the meanings have nothing to do with what actual electrical engineers mean when they say "antenna", "transmission line", "characteristic impedance"…
