@ins0mniak @7 seems like something is going on, quite how one gets to Xi under house arrest
with Iran and everything else going crazy, you get the sense that we're at an historical hinge point, who knows
@ins0mniak @skells That it’s primarily Indian sources doesn’t lend confidence. And Zeng’s a good reporter but she’s not shy to announce the dead ends she’ll pursue that fit her interests.
@ins0mniak @7 why would you spread such a rumour
@ins0mniak @7 haha no doubt, weird use for a troll farm tho
usually when bots are spouting similar lines there's an agenda
@skells @ins0mniak It could be a rogue element trying to spur nationalism in India. Making a self-fulfilling prophecy? Ionno, not enough info.
@7 @ins0mniak just seems odd timing with Iran but yeah not enough info
"data, data, data; I cannot make bricks without clay!"
@ins0mniak @7 international affairs is easy
blame the CIA
@skells @ins0mniak I really want to blame it on an amateurish plot by the Indian Intelligence Bureau or the R&D Wing.
@ins0mniak @skells then I will be sure to disclaim:
this is not financial advice
@skells @ins0mniak At least it’s no longer just the domain of the elite. Now everyone can make terrible decisions and analyses on the geopolitical scale.
@ins0mniak @skells I know my takes can be pretty shit when I have little info, but thank fuck I’m not “twitter-screenshot” tier. That’s just straight wishful thinking.
@ins0mniak @7 @not_br549 No Agenda just saying that canceled flights and trains seem most likely the source
I like the impulse test thing though, more interesting than a dying Twitter just chasing eyeballs with not farms
That of course could be a lot of things. Chinese politics are a big black box. Say, for example they had some computer issue and grounded their planes while they fixed it. The last thing the PRC would do is tell anyone about it. They love projecting the image they've cultivated for them selves.
