2023 is not a happy year for me, but I still had a lot of fun. The first 6 months were filled with confusion and uncertainty. I was not sure what I should do. I found no interest in the master’s degree in China, I think it's a total waste of time and useless (I'm a realistic idealist). But I can't find a job, and had nothing to do. Every morning I woke up with fear, fearing another day was wasted.
Later I decide to not waste my time. If I can't get a job, I still have a GitHub account. I still love programming. And maybe if I keep pushing codes and trying new things, 1) I don't waste my time, 2) I can explain what I did in this long gap year.
Then I traveled to Yunnan in October. It's a trip with surprise. The reason I want to go there is I have been stuck at my home for a year, I want something new, but this time I'm in charge. Although I didn't go too many places, and I was hurt badly, it's still a wonderful trip. The people (which I called friends) made me happy and refill my mental energy. That energy lasts till now.
Anyway, I hope 2024 will be a good year for me, for you, for everyone who strives for life. I wish I can get a decent job in early 2024, and wish you a good night (if you're going to sleep).
Thank you for your reading :)

Good news for #QOTO. We are now being funded by some donated resources, both money and developers. We will essentially have a full-time server administrator and a part-time developer to advance the QOTO software. They will be starting January 1st.
This should allow us to start adopting many of the features we have wanted to bring in that people have been requesting.
Got a new temporary tent for long time storage. Don't have a dedicated room, but at least got a tent.
My last tent is an outdoor tent which has been dismantled by wild cats during the last strong cold wave. They cut the tent and make it a wild cat shelter, which makes it unusable anymore.
Also, the Cat Repellents Sprays are totally useless.

When you build a computer with relays and motors, but you don't realize.
If you know what it is, it's pretty easy to understand. The motor is essentially a pipeline instructing the CPU when to do what. The score counter is kind of mixture of RAM and arithmetic unit, it counts and remember.
I guess it's a 1 or 2 Hz clock speed 😀

I can write C/C++, some snipplet. I can solve leetcode with C/C++, but I never claim I can write C/C++, becuase I don't know how to finish the project. I know a little bit of cmake and Makefile, but I don't know the configuration and dependency thing.
You can't say you know C++ because you can print hello world on the console.
Can't believe there is sus C/C++ code mixed in my Kotlin/JVM project 😜

I'm a Chinese shitizen, but I generally don't post in Chinese to avoid being suffering from other Chinese.
I'm physically a male, but I don't care how people think about my gender. I can be male, or female, or cat. But if you ask, I'd prefer to be referred to as male. Also, I support LGBT+ people, and I'm a copyleft. I don't think I'm too aggressive in arguing things, but sometimes I do. You should handle it with care.
I post about programming (most time is Java and Kotlin, unless I have a new love), and some random things I find interesting. I also post about my mental health, which is in a stable state of instability, thanks to my parents and Chinese society.
Anyway, if you want to follow me, I'm glad to see you. And, have a nice day.
