Wow, that's a new one. Bought a game from a trustworthy bundle site years ago, and now it got its key revoked because the dev has some issues with the publisher or some such? Like, what? What's that got to do with us, the players?

I'm now seeing a big review-bombing unfold on the store page of that game. Very curious how that's going to get resolved but I can say the reputation of that dev is utter shit right now. Like, yeah, that was a great idea to revoke keys of probably tens of thousands of players after 3 years. /s

@trinsec After getting steam forced on me I decided to never buy a DRMed game again. It's worked well.

@swiley Och, I like Steam. I have no issues with it. :) Besides, this isn't Steam's fault. This is solely that game dev's fault.

@trinsec Steam is less great if you don't have an internet connection that can deal with huge downloads whenever you try to launch a game.

@swiley That counts for any launcher, honestly.
But you can play Steam in offline mode for times you don't have a (good) connection.

@trinsec Offline mode does not work. It's been unusable for long enough that I'm convinced it's intentional.

Also: KSP's launcher doesn't have this problem.

@swiley Whelp, can't help you there then. Worked fine here.

KSP? Kerbal Space Program? Not entirely sure what the launcher of just one game's got to do with a launcher of a game distribution site.
